About
Amanda Ann Klein is the coordinator of the Film Studies minor at East Carolina University and teaches courses in in film history, theory and aesthetics. Her work has appeared in Jump Cut, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and FLOW. Her first book, entitled AMERICAN FILM CYCLES: REFRAMING GENRES, SCREENING SOCIAL PROBLEMS, & DEFINING SUBCULTURES, was published by the University of Texas Press in the Fall of 2011.
